Ok, I’ve had some time to play around with the upcoming Mint Linux 9.  So far, I like it.  It feels a lot simpler that Ubuntu does.  It also has a lot of useful programs pre-installed such as Firewall, startup-manager, and various other utilities. Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx

I will have to say, This last update for Ubuntu has by far been the best.  However it does have it’s problems. I ran Lucid on my HP Mini 100-1117NR, and as far as Ubuntu was concerned it ran perfectly.  Everything worked, including my mic, which did not work under Karmic (9.10).  However, I have to be able to still boot into Windows.  A glitch caused me to lose my ability to boot into Windows 7.  After spending some hours working...
